I've always found that at a bookstore, lunchtime is best. Guys sneaking out of work for a quick blo. Things tend to drop off fast after 1 or 1:30.
Then there may be a surge from maybe 4-6. But things drop off fast after 6.
Late night - that varies. And mornings, forget it. Not worth the effort.
THAT SAID: I'll go pretty much anytime I can get free. Even mornings. Give me some time I'm not accountable for and let me get in the vicinity of a XX, and I'm there at least checking it out.
